A COUPLE OF SPECIAL SERVICES…

On June 11 we will celebrate Pentecost: the Birthday of the Church and the coming of the Spirit.

You are invited to wear red, orange and/or yellow and to dress as creatively as possible… Hint: the idea is to look like FLAMES!

Also, if you own—or could beg, borrow or steal!—a KITE, that would be grand.

Finally, you are invited to bring along a tasty dish to share at our after worship potluck lunch…

On June 18, it’s all about the Dads, as Fathers’ Day will be our worship focus.

You are encouraged to bring along to worship something that reminds you of your Dad; whether the Dad of your birth, or the “Dad” of your heart.

If your Dad is a handy sort of guy, you might bring a tool; if he loved to write letters, a pen and writing paper might be your object—you get the picture …

Looking forward to celebrating these special occasions together!

WE’RE ON THE ROAD! …

Our devoted and hardworking NDPC Amalgamation Team will meet again this Thursday, June 1.

Should you have any questions, comments or concerns about anything to do with the amalgamation, please do not hesitate to speak with a Team member:

DAILY PRAYER …

I slow myself down for a moment, and try to realise that God is present. To me. Here and now. He is in present in what I do, in the people that I meet, and the situations I find myself in daily. How can I make this reality real for myself?
